Anyone know anyone who could temporarily take care of a dog?

Anyone know anyone who could take care of my dog next year when my parents go on vacation? He is an 8 year old Golden Retriever, neutered, probably around 80-90 lbs. He is very sweet and clingy.
We don't want to send him to a dog hotel and get fleas or traumatized or something. We would be willing to pay a small sum...
This would probably be for late October 2009 and perhaps later vacation times as well (winter, spring, etc.)
